There Is Nasty Stuff Out There

Do you know about adware and spyware? These are tracking files installed on your computer by unscrupulous types to see what you do on the internet and ultimately sell you something or maybe even rip you off. Then there are the ones who would sell you the software to eliminate the software that you didn't want installed in the first place. What's up with that?

Do what I do. Get the fix for free. Two of the best are AdAware (click on AdAware Personal at the left) and Spybot (courtesy of Download.com). I sweep with both of them, one after another. And you will be surprised at what you find on your trusty computer.
