My wife wrote;

I've heard that fawns this small don't have any scent for hiding and protection purposes, so the horses probably didn't think anything was unusual with this little guy. Just a smaller part of the herd. ha ha..

Isn't this a beautiful sight.. After the horses moved on, the doe came for her wandering fawn. So all is well in case you were wondering.
