Medical Marijuana Research

After doing the 'Sign' post, I... I forgot what I was going to say.

No, seriously, after making fun of the Medical Weed Association, I thought it was only right to promote this fine outfit which is trying to help stop people's suffering. They really need to find better named representatives though (Professor Craker?). Crackers, Mmmmm...

Again, seriously, they are a fine organization that is trying to make available all resources to help the sick and suffering. (Yes, I am having a hard time with this.) If suffering can be controlled by weed, then give the sufferer a prescription for weed. For example, if I stub my toe, then... wait, bad example.

I firmly believe that if one person can benefit from a substance, no matter what that substance may be, then it should be available to that person to raise their quality of life. If, for instance, a person's suffering can be alleviated by, say, snake testicles, then why in God's name would an intelligent person outlaw snake testicles? I understand that weed is a controlled substance, but so is morphine. And the sick have no problem obtaining morphine. Why is weed any different?

I also understand that the people who outlaw weed also see no problem with spending a bazillion dollars studying weasel mating habits. Whoa, I think I just found the problem.

Anyway here is the organization's website.
