Riding In The Rain

I remember one time many years ago, I was out by myself, riding my motorcycle. I had long hair, a beard and wore leathers (still do). It started to rain and I was out in the country, miles from anywhere to stop and get out of the weather. So I pulled over on this country road and stopped under a big tree to wait it out.

I sat there waiting and I noticed a little old lady coming out of the farmhouse across the road from me. She had an umbrella and she was heading my way. I started thinking about how sweet it was of her to come out in this weather to see if I was alright and maybe to offer me shelter.

She came closer and closer until she had walked right up to me. Then she stopped, put out her arm and gave me the middle finger. I mean she shook it at me. Then she turned around and headed back to her house. I laughed so hard I fell off my motorcycle.

This is a true story.
