What's Up With This David Blaine?

Does anyone have any comments about this latest stunt from David Blaine?

Or could someone at least explain to me why he does this?

UPDATE: My wife thinks he will go home and take a long bath.

UPDATE: I’d like to know what he was doing on the turnip truck to begin with, because apparently that’s what he fell off of.

UPDATE: He says he's humbled by the support. If that is support, then auto accidents get support from rubberneckers.

No contest. What Geno does makes sense.

I am sure that a monkey could be trained to hold it's breath for 9 minutes under water..the hardest part is convincing him to do it, hence the reason they use David Blaine!

I watched about 15 minutes of his special last night. He has done some interesting things. Like bending the prison bars and correctly predicting 5 roulette spins (turned $100 into $3200 for some lucky lady).

Too much hype and crap to keep me entertained for too long.

He reminds me of a person who wouldn't mind killing himself just for the attention. And 9 minutes of David Blaine is 10 minutes too much. But this went on for a week.

I admit I would be mesmerized if he approached me on the street, but the producers build him up way too much.....On A&E is a show called Chris Angel ( or something close) he is an entertaining magician high above the level of Mr. David Blaine. Also on A&E is a great show called Family Plots....

If he approached me on the street, I would respond with, "Stay back whack job, you might be contagious."
