Drop The Cigarette And Come Out With Your Hands Up

That sounds pretty radical, doesn't it? But that is what we are heading for.

You don't believe me? Read this.

Ohioans agree we should protect people from unwanted exposure to tobacco smoke. That means a smoking ban...but it doesn’t have to mean telling people how they should run their lives or their business.
So, while some people advocate an absolute, radical ban that could end up making smoking a criminal offense, we can take a common sense approach that balances protection for public health with protection against overly intrusive government. That’s what Smoke Less is about: a fair and balanced approach that everyone can agree on.
Smoke Less Ohio is a coalition of hospitality businesses and organizations that are committed to supporting a common sense smoking policy for all of Ohio. The Smoke Less Ohio proposal would ban smoking in 90% of enclosed public places, but make limited exemptions for places that serve mostly adults, such as bars.

So it sounds like a smoking ban is coming to Ohio. Read more here.

I remember when this was a free country. I'm gonna miss it.
