The Spinach Crisis Continues

Corrine has an update on the spinach crisis. Where will it end? Oh, the humanity!

Sad news.

I just received word (and a photo) of the latest victim of the current E.coli outbreak, related to the consumption of spinach and wanted to pass it along to you as soon as I could. We've all lost a good friend, and to those of us who served in the Navy, a fellow Sailor. He will be sadly missed. Please see the photo below ......

And I want it noted, that if you look at the original blog talking about this, only I was the one worried about him......I TOLD you he was sick....I just knew it....what will Sweet Pea and Olyve Oyl do now? Is there a memorial fund we can set up for them?

So sad. All you ever hear is "eat healthy", "eat healthy."
How much more healthy could a steady diet of spinach
and Olyve Oyl be?

The memorial fund is in place.

It is accepting only spinach at this time.

I don't think they thought that one through!

And Anon, I am sticking to my current diet. Healthy foods be damned!

OK! OK! No need to shout.
We're at a funeral. Please show the man with the largest
forearms in the world a little respect.
Eat what you like. I'm not passing judgement here.

Diet is easily the most misunderstood science today. And quacks like that Atkins fellow aren't helping a bit.

I'm pretty sure he's done helping now.

Just a small bit of research will quickly show you that he never started.
