Coloring Book

This is from Corrine.

It is difficult to believe that this art work was done with Crayola's.
Absolutely magnificent pieces of art/portraits.

The Master Crayola! Artist...

Don Marco was born in Northern Minnesota in the late 1920's. His interest in art was evident even before starting school.
As a young adult in the Army Air Corp, he began his life's career in Air Traffic Control, which continued until his retirement from Honolulu International Airport in 1973. Much of his spare time was spent as a professional artist.
Before retirement, Don started developing a technique to create fine art using Crayola Crayons. Shortly after retiring he published his first print. Living in Southern California, his work was in demand, including commissions from Burt Reynolds and a one-man show at his Dinner Theater in Florida.

If I had known you can make art this beautiful with crayons, I could have saved thousands of $$ over the last 15 years. My wife is an artist, watercolors, oils, acrylics, etc. She buys $100-$500 of paints per year. Her art work makes great Christmas presents, hint, hint.

If you would like, you can email me photos and contact info and I'll post it on here.

My wife paints as well, but only for herself.

Thanks Tramp, will do...she needs all the exposure she can get. Last year, she did all the art for the children's book "Bullmina, the Courages Bulldog". She is working on the sequel now. Is also donated two paintings that traveled the nation with the 911 exhibit. We went to see it when they came to the Georgia National Fair. It was powerful, a must see if you get the chance.

Happy to help. That's why I'm here.

And JohnD, your mentioning 911 has inspired me to do a post. Let's see Dr. Suess' take on 911!
