Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We hear it every year, but what does it really mean?

Webster defines "merry" as "cheerful, joyous, uninhibited".

But, how many of us truly feel uninhibited amid the constant pressures (real or imagined) of the holidays?

The truth is, Christmas doesn't have to be the way it appears on the commercials. It will be just as merry – and probably more so – if we keep it simple and make it our own.

So, stop. Turn off the TV and the CD player and create your own "soundtrack" of conversation and laughter. Sit down as a family and read a story. Sing a carol. Light a candle. Talk about holidays when you were a child. You'll cherish that kind of merriment long after the season has come and gone.
