The Teflon President
Ronald Wilson Reagan was a great man. Sharp as a new tack and the bearer of a likable personality, he had no real enemies. Those that were against him could find no real reason to discredit him. They would cry, "Reaganomics, Reaganomics!" like it was a bad thing. Sure, Ronnie was spending a lot of money, but Dubya is spending more just to destroy a few countries and get 3000 or so of our finest young heros killed. And there is no end in sight.
Mr. Reagan was spending money to build us up into such a powerful force that no one on Earth would cross or challenge us. How much was he spending? A lot. How much are the lives of 3000 US soldiers worth? More.
