The Importance Of Friends

A good friend of mine stopped by tonight.

This was after I returned home from a visit with another good friend of mine.

Now I am finally alone.

And I am reflecting on this day.

And I am realizing two things.

How much money you have

means nothing in the big picture.

And how much power you have

means even less.

What is truly important is how your friends feel about you.

And that depends on who you decide to be.

If people do not like you,

fortune and fame are worthless.

However, if people love you,

fortune and fame are meaningless.

And that makes life good.

And life is good.
