A Poemtry

I can't bring myself to call what I write 'poetry'.

When others write, they label it "written by", "authored by", or "created by".
Mine always say "Responsible for".

Christmas is what we all hold dear,
Thank God it comes but once a year.
If it came twice then I’d have fear,
But I fear not when beer is near!

Hey, where’s my beer? It was just here!
My beer is gone! My greatest fear.
Oh well, I need another here.
And make it fast, that should be clear.
