There Goes Another Good Thing

I've just received terrible news. I like Rolling Rock beer. I am drinking one now to honor it's death. That's right, Rolling Rock is going away. Here is the news article.

Anheuser-Busch buys Rolling Rock beer brand

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) — Anheuser-Busch, the largest U.S. brewer, said Friday that it has purchased the Rolling Rock beer brand for $82 million to expand its portfolio of products.
Anheuser-Busch acquired Rolling Rock's global brand rights and recipes and will begin brewing Rolling Rock and Rock Green Light in August.

Yes, Anheuser-Busch. That's the company with the King Midas In Reverse touch. Everything they touch turns to crap. They make Buttwiper. Easily the worst beer on the planet. And I'm sure they will destroy Rolling Rock with their rice substitute for barley and their injected CO2 instead of natural carbonation. Pure crap. So ends an era. But I'll find a way to go on. Somehow.

I am now officially in mourning.

Disclaimer: All comments above concerning Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch are simply my humble opinion and not fact in any way. Please don't sue me. I've changed my mind, you're great people. Just keep moving. Too bad I can't get these letters any smaller. Keep going Bud boy.

That sounds a lot like a microbrewery/whorehouse, doesn't it? It might go far!
