Yes, my contributing writer and friend Corrine was hit by a car while riding on Saturday. And also like Ben, she is going to be OK. But she is hurt. Broken hand, broken foot, broken shoulder and so on. When are these morons going to learn to drive with their eyes open? And why are they allowed to keep on driving?
I'm gonna stop now. Or else I'll go off.

Absolutely fucking ridiculous. These morons are allowed to drive and we are expected to take the consequenses of their stupidity. Maybe it really is time to fight back. Make them suffer as they do us.

Corrine, I am sorry to hear about your accident. Best wishes for a speedy and thorough recovery for you and Chris. I hope you win the lawsuits. It seems to be the only way our society can teach and hold ourselves responsible for our actions/inactions.
Be sure to ask for a jury trial. That way it is not the geniuses that came up with these laws that seem to protect the guilty, but rather a jury of your peers who understand that cages taking out bikers will no longer be tolerated making the decision as to who should pay.
Here's a prayer for your speedy recovery,Corrine. I have my own history with near hits and tragedies, and always keep bikers in my prayers, and in all drivers sights!!!!
I'm sure she appreciates all the good wishes, but not as much as she would appreciate getting the incompetants off of our roads.
