This One's For Joe

And all the other NASCAR fans out there. I think this is great!
Watch out for this little fella.

Stock car driver, 11, rises up the ranks
MOTTVILLE, Mich. (UPI) -- The No. 2 stock car driver at the Mottville (Mich.) Speedway is also the youngest, clocking in at just 11-years-old. Zach Hiser is currently ranked second for the season in both the track's 4- and 6-cylinder, front-wheel-drive competition and the more muscular, high-speed category, the Chicago Tribune reported Monday. In the high-speed category, he is second only to his father, Ed Hiser. Liability coverage usually keeps drivers under 14 from competing at amateur tracks, but the Mottville Speedway circumvents that problem by not being insured, owner Merle Holden told the Tribune. "This kid is probably one of these prodigies who is going to end up in that profession," said Timothy Smith, teen driving expert and author of "Crashproof Your Kids." "But if you think you're bulletproof at 16, you're oblivious at 11. There's no way he has the same kind of calculus going on in his mind that someone 5, 10 or 15 years his senior has. You just hope he can stay OK until he gets older." Zach said he wants to one day drive in NASCAR and "become Dale (Earnhardt) Jr.'s best friend."
