Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, California, USAIn the midst of numerous shops, arcades, seafood restaurants, cafés, fairground rides, street vendors, attractions and excellent ocean views, Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf is San Francisco's number one tourist attraction and is a real landmark in the city.





In 1990, a large number of sea lions took over the whole area and now reside on floating platforms close to the pier. The sea lions are excellent free entertainment, as they climb over each other and are very affectionate to one another. This is a popular tourist attraction in San Francisco and often draws large crowds.
