Pray For Them:

From Carrie, a noble request.

Pray for these Heros.

And be sure to support them in any way you can.

I ran into one of these Heros about a week ago as I was getting gasoline. He was wearing a United States Army uniform. I asked if he was active. He said that he had just returned from two years in Iraq.
I said, "Thank you".
He was overwhelmed. He said that even though people used to do that when the war started, his buddies and him were talking about how no one has been saying that for the last few years. And he truely appreciated the support. He thanked me for it.

He thanked me for it!

I told him that at my site, if you don't support our troops, I'll have you kicked out of the country!
I've done it before and I'll do it again!

Anyway, here's Carrie.

We have a long list of good friends whose spouses are deploying to Iraq next month.
One of the wives sent me this. We feel compelled to send it on.

Your prayers are deeply appreciated. These guys deserve our love, our hugs and most powerfully, our prayers.

Prayer Request:
I understand that life in Iraq is very difficult to bear right now. Our troops need our prayers for strength, endurance and safety.

"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need.
Amen."

When you read this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our troops around the world. There's nothing attached; just do it.

Do not let it stop with you, please --

of all the gifts you could give a US Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine deployed in harm's way,

prayer is the very best!!!
