Katrina

Corrine has some photos of Katrina that are beautiful. Katrina was a disaster of near epic proportions but that doesn't take away from her beauty.
I once rode a hurricane out in Florida. I stayed outside to observe this wonder. People told me I was crazy for doing so but I thought, "It's just a hard wind. I deal with blowhards every day".

Heck, I've been through a tornado before. It tossed the car I was in like a toy. I thought it was cool.

It wasn't until I heard these wise words from comedian Ron White that I realized how stupid such behaviour really was. He said, "It's not THAT the wind is blowing. It's WHAT the wind is blowing. If you get hit by a Volvo..."
