Reader Mail

I received this email earlier today and would like to respond to it.

Tramp,
What's this crap with friendship, poetry, hints, tips and the rest of this garbage? What's next, recipes?

Recipes? What a great idea!

Here is my favorite cheesecake.

Supreme Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Ingredients:
1 cup of chocolate wafer crumbs
3 tablespoons of margarine, melted
24 ounces of cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of unbleached all-purpose flour
3 large eggs
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine crumbs and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350
degrees F., 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on
electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Blend in sour cream and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into crust. Bake at 350
degrees F., 55 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.
Garnish with whipped cream and fresh mint leaves, if desired.

FOOTNOTE: No one tells Tramp what he can and cannot do!

UPDATE: Corrine has a good one too!

HEY, I KIND OF LIKE IT!
HERE IS ONE THAT I MAKE THAT GENO, KENNY AND COLLEEN LOVE, AND IT'S EASY TO MAKE.

6 BONELESS CHICKEN BREASTS
2 CANS OF CHEESE SOUP AND 1 CAN OF CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP

PUT 3 BREASTS IN CROCK POT
ADD SALT AND PEPPER AND GARLIC SALT
THEN ADD THE OTHER 3 BREASTS
MIX ALL 3 CANS OF SOUP TOGETHER
DO NOT ADD WATER OR MILK
DUMP ON TOP OF CHICKEN AND COOK ON LOW FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS
FIX WITH NOODLES OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU LIKE

THIS CHICKEN FALLS APART IN YOUR MOUTH

UPDATE UPDATE: And Sweet has a great one too!

Tramp, this person clearly wants a new dinner recipe ~ here is my favorite.

Every year at the holidays we have roasted duck, potato dumplings, and sauerkraut. This is a traditional Slavic menu ~ my hubby is of Slavic descent.

Potato Dumplings
4 cups of boiled potatoes shredded
2 cups of flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of salt

Make dough by combining the ingredients above, then roll out into dumplings, boil for 8 minutes or until dumplings float. Finally add to roasting duck for the last 10 minutes of baking time serve with sauerkraut.

Slavic Sauerkraut
One large jar of kraut
Brown sugar to taste
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds

Enjoy!

I am Slavic too! On my mothers side. I love this food!

Welcome To Tramp's Recipe Hut. Today let's kick it up a notch.

Wait, Emeril does that.

I think I should do my favorite boat food. Chili cheese dogs and lobster bisque!

Surf and turf!

OHHHH Bobby, you got slammed!

And Corrine, see the new Island recipe I've posted.

You will have to go there some time and try it out. You can substitute Crown for the beer!

That sounds like a taunt.
