Recipe Of The Month

Carrie has a great recipe to share with us. She picked it up from her KOA newsletter.

I wonder if it's the same KOA I belong to?

Mine is 'Knuckleheads Of America'. I have a Gold Membership!

POOR MAN'S STEAK

This is one of my great-grandmother's recipes that has been in our family for many years. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and a salad for a very delicious meal!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck (or can use ground sirloin)

1/2 cup bread crumbs 1/2 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup milk
Flour
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can golden mushroom soup (or you can use cream of mushroom soup)
1/2 soup can water
1/2 soup can milk

Directions:
Combine ground beef, 1/2 cup milk, bread crumbs and chopped onion.
Spread mixture into bottom of a 9 x 9 inch pan.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 3 hours or preferably overnight.
Cut meat into 4 squares.
Carefully remove squares from pan using a spatula; lightly flour both sides of meat with fingers.
Brown meat squares in a skillet and place into a 9 x 9 inch baking pan.
Mix soup, 1/2 soup can water, and 1/2 soup can milk.
Cover meat with soup mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
Enjoy!
4 servings (Yeah, right! Me and three skinny people! - Tramp)
Note: This recipe can be doubled using a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

I always bring the brew!

Unfortunately, I might have to work this weekend.

Stupid boss! (yes, I'm the boss)

But my customers have ordered six months worth of equipment in the last three weeks!
